What We Dont See Poem by isabel grossbart

What We Dont See

For those who want to know
I was a ball of fire,
radiant light cascading out of me
but years have gone by
and im not the same
ive grown up and learned things
like how to cry
how to hate
how to not forgive when someone makes a mistake
now im an empty waste of space
with no way to changing it
and years before have past by
and im not the same
ive grown up and forgotten things
like how to laugh
how to love
how to be happy with just being me
that was never enough
later on i will fade away
due to the choices that i have made
time will go by
the fire i was will burn out
the space i took up will be freed
i will leave behind
my life
my story
for those who want to know
