What will I do,
When you are gone
How will I force the breath
From my lungs
Up past my lips
And out into the world
How will I open my eyes
Focus,
And push myself through another day
What will I do,
When sorrow grasps my heart
With an iron fist
Squeezing until finally
I begin to split
Then rips me into shreds
Until I feel like
I'm bleeding inside
And my tears become blood
What will I do?
