What You Made. Poem by Safiyyah Manjra

What You Made.

The doors are closing in,
On this feeling, I use to call pain.

Those nights of chatter with you.
The way my heart thinks all of it is true.

My mind at times may fear,
Of the worries of eyes which may tear.

We have been through so much,
At times I worry if you can still love me as such.

That's the glory of love by which,
Means of such misunderstanding causes the heart to switch.

No matter what we go through.
I can't see myself ever being apart from you.

You have captured my heart.
With your delicate hands from the start.

Although I may say I love you.
Although I may think of you ever so often.

It still baffles me how it all begun…
