What You Turned Out To Be Poem by Martin Macharia

What You Turned Out To Be

Rating: 5.0

This day I live
This heart bleeds in grieve
The fact so hard believe
That what I must give
Is far more than I achieve
A leader God called you to be
Unjust you turned out to be
Cant afford the bills
I raise wage for thieves at high hills
For political reasons they kill
To protect what they steal
A leader God called you to be
A thief you turned out to be

A well conceived of poetry set aside for honest reflection. A beautiful work of art written with spiritual insight. Thanks for sharing, Martin.
