Whatever Kindness I Send Poem by JAMES T. ADAIR

Whatever Kindness I Send

You say I give you something nice
But you give me even more
Whatever kindness I send
You return to me twice

Did you know you have a beautiful heart?
I thought you said it was breaking apart
But all I feel from you now is smiles
That touch me from across the miles

I was thinking about you today
As I was driving in my car
As windshield wipers swept the rain
I thought it's a shame we are so far

Maybe someday soon fate will intervene
As anything is possible in a dream
For now I'm thankful that we found in each other a friend
Meanwhile our friendship helps our hearts to mend.
