Wheelchair Poem by josette rice

Wheelchair

Their eyes show me they care
But withtheir caring - they stare

What you never seen someone in a wheelchair before!

The pitiful look in their eyes, belie thoughts
that can be seen through their eyes - which do not lie

Hey! Guess what! Don't want your pity
I'm just going about in the City

Their stares convey the look you would give a sweet little puppy
Don't you know? Am Happy,

can't you see the strong, sexy
intelligent woman that I am

Just going about in the City

So whatare you looking at!

Am just going about in my wheelchair - In the City!
