When A Woman Changes! - Poem by Sylvia Chidi

Change is inevitable in our lives
As a woman ages
So she changes

But when a woman changes her identity,
Her very own self
All in the name of love,
All hell is set loose!

Even to herself, she becomes
The strange stranger of strangeness!

This is a lovely piece Sylvia, we all change: physically and emotionally, yet we still seek the common ground to highlight our own plight. I feel this is what is implied, so masterly, in this piece. (Report) Reply

When a woman ages, her boobs sag, her sex organ becomes much loose, her figure becomes withered like a fruit, and her emotions find no outlet though she suffers much hard. She expects one thing but gets another - totally different from what she has always wanted all her life. She expects some younger lover(s) , and get none but a gigolo who charges on her sexual pleasure. Anyway, I like your poem, and have commented on it because I feel I have to add some new information to what you have refered to about a woman's plight in the poem. (Report) Reply
