When Ashes Fall Poem by Tamara Turner

When Ashes Fall

Rating: 5.0

Ashes blown away by the wind
Faded memories flickery like a candle burning until the end
Haunted echos bouncing off an  encravaced cave wall
Watching my steps so i thread lightly
Trying to avoid an never ending fall
There are no walls there are no sounds
All i hear is my heart beating it violently pounds.

Captivating lines about being lost.. the word flickery was absolutely the right word for trying to walk with a candle in one's hands. 10
