When Autumn Brings Memory Poem by fera nugroho

When Autumn Brings Memory

this is the same boulevard
that we passed many many nights
three hundreds full moon ago

i tried to freeze the time
and felt the breeze
one more time
here on this boulevard

it was the moment
when autumn leaves
confessed to the trees
-that lined up witnessing-
their commitment
to the wildest dreams…
the same dreams
we dared to have

it was the time
when things were just right
and we painted our hearts
with the colors
that autumn brought

it was the memory
-i won't let go-
when we celebrated the splendor
of the flying leaves

when sweet breezes kissed
the falling leaves
and we stood there
amazed by the bliss
