When problems catch your neck and throat,
Appearing tough to deal,
Remind to sail in patience's boat;
God's wisdom rain can heal!
When trials come in succession,
Without a breathing gap,
Let calmness be your sole bastion,
Until your final lap.
When failures fill you in despair,
Let hope become your wood,
That keeps you floating, catching air,
In turmoil's sea, for good.
When plans of prosperity fail,
Await for brighter days;
It takes some time to stop the gale
Or scorching sun, on face.
When precious time is ebbing fast,
Without a sign of aid,
Let prudence of your childhood past,
Help you through problems wade.
When death is lurking near your bed,
With hours before you die,
Confess your sins before you're dead,
To God, who's always nigh!
Beacon from light-house will soon flash,
And bring you safe to shore;
Though taller waves upon you dash,
Your tolerance grows more.
Let faith in God engulf your heart;
He cares for all He made;
Keep cool if you have done your part;
The threatening haze will fade.
