So much culture embroidered into a single fathoming
Of universal global commitments, for understanding
That skin was meant to be touched and a body held
Close to something so unpolluted, pure and excelled
That it hit in the face so hard my tears forgot to cry
Instead my lungs took a second to breathe and to try
To make sense of what it takes to go beyond humanity
To see the world for what it could actually one day be
A pray sought in faith until the love another intercedes
And then such a simple solution founded by proceeds
Of allowing a heart to be open and yet so wise to this
That disallows the gesture of love and extinguishes bliss
Can’t reveal so much in my past that made who we are
Or is the perception of a shaped characteristic so far
That seeks something that cannot be found so easily
As one relies on the experience than gesturing openly
If I ran fast enough could I leave this gravity of Earth?
Or is an example of power beyond even this human girth?
The final thought’s of the dying one from the day of birth
Would still be the future or reflective pasts before the earth?
It’s the darkness that always blinds but the light that burns
Blistered fingers heal with time before another now turns
Letting nature run the course of cleansing a simple soul
So much has been abandoned; have we lost what is whole?
Or do we realise the components we have all so become?
I want to seek the two thirds I never used now so undone
And search a point in which I can create rather than destroy
To teach this wisdom back and bury war to a past history
Too much of a division in a simplicity of words spoken
Raising a price for the cure to disease and call it token
Would it really be too much to expand a shore so foreign?
Forever walking on shores where the deserts meet oceans
