When Dreams Come True, I Can't Say Poem by Mohammad Younus

When Dreams Come True, I Can't Say

When dreams come true, I can't say;
I battle for my truest self.
Time spins on, weaving dreams—
It never pauses, it just continues,
Spinning dreams.

Life is timeless,
a series of dreams within the dream.
The Veth flows from a traceless source
to the farthest ocean.

There is a quest for knowing the truth,
In this dream world I inhabit.
I never choose to enter dreaming,
Yet dreams flow from source beyond.
I've grown accustomed to dreaming
within the dream.

In the end, I realize the dreamer is me.
I seek to fulfill my own dreams,
Not to please anyone else.
I just wish to awaken in my own dream,
Understanding that I am a dream.
I simply want to dream and act
within the dream.
