When humans become animals
In the wilderness, animals kill to eat
To survive
In our society, humans kill to defeat
To thrive
When humans become criminals
Crime is rampant. Guns are everywhere
No place is safe. There is nowhere to hide
People are heartless and unfair
Whatever happens to decency and pride?
When humans become animals
Lions and tigers hunt to eat
Humans kill others to defeat
The streets are sporadically strafed
In the jungle, no place is safe
When humans become criminals.
