When i saw you and you didnt know me
I had a Strange feeling inside for you
When you saw me and i didnt know your name
I hoped your heart raced as mine did the same

When we met and i smiled into your eyes
I hid what words i felt underneath my tounge
When they grinned as i asked you out
I was filled with joy and wanted to shout

When we kissed you felt into my soul
I could only guess what i had done to your heart
When you left that night i hoped for more
I didnt want to let you know my heart was poor

When that night you sank deep into my being
I let you deep into my mind and i barley gave it a thought
When day broke i felt renewed as the morning sun
I didnt stop to think you were just in it for fun

When that night you found i had never loved before
I should have been told to never have stepped out the door
When just as i thought i had found happiness
i began to think it better to have died in lonelyness

When love was there it blocked the pain
I need to know it can remain the same
When love leaves the pain is sharp and twice as strong
I knew at least before love only a mild pain would last all along
