When I Am Gone (2) Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

When I Am Gone (2)

When my sojourn is over
And heaven beckons me home
How very nice it would be
In place of mundane rites
Have poets surround me in farewell
Reciting beautiful works of poetry
To herald the departure of a kin
My soul will soar high in joy
Gliding in the clouds of firmament
To rest with the saints gone.
