When I Am Gone Poem by Crepino Zembere

When I Am Gone

When I am gone, I hope you will cry
Even if some will fake their cry
But I won't worry, for I will be gone
Surely the time is coming, soon or latter

Maybe tomorrow I may not be there
What will your mouth say?
Will you consider me as your heir?
Or someone who tipped your life to dismay

But before the time comes
Just know I loved and cared for you always
Truly have it in mind you helped me in all ways
In your presence all I had were smiles

Now to you my acquaintances
Now and then I just want to thank you
So as to avoid self blames and regrets
When I am Gone
