When I Dare Poem by Kristi Wilkinson

When I Dare

There are many woes
That we have today,
Something to hard to
Just take away.

Shake that wand
And magical dust,
Maybe it will get
Better by dusk.

She will come back to you
In the warm summer air
And you will dream again,
If you so dare.

I will have my answers I need
To take me home where I belong,
To the life that I once had
And still long.

We both will be happy
With the outcomes we share,
Someday I will let this friendship
Strengthen when I dare.
