When I Fell In Love With You - Poem by Hollie McDaniel
you told me you loved me
you'd always be me friend
you promised me forever
that you'd be there till the end
there was nothing left to do
i had lost all will
to be my own person
when i fell in love with you
then you left me
scared and alone
watching and waiting
for you to come home
the day you left me
i finally realized
i was just another victim
of your pretty lies
so as they lay my body down
in it's final resting place
promise me you'll remember
the look upon my face
the day i fell i love with you
