When I First Came To This World Poem by Mohammad Younus

When I First Came To This World

When I first came here to this world,
Did I come of my own accord?
I know you took this decision yourself;
The decision wasn't mine at all;
It was yours even before making me;
You took that decision for reasons,
Best known to you;
I think you wanted to see,
If I could bear your trust;
So you put me here in this muddle;
You know how much do I struggle,
To prove my mantle to bear your trust;
But I am wrong because I do only,
What my brain tells me to do,
And my brain is like the computer system,
Absolutely under your control,
Being run and operated by you;
There are not two and definitely not three realities;
It's only you and you - the one-reality!
Or possibly I am only like a robot,
Functioning with artificial intelligence;
There is only one-reality, one-intelligence;
That is the only way I can see my reality;
I am nothing! I've nothing of my own!
My mind, heart, and soul that make up me,
Are actually given to me,
To perform the way you like me;
I just am like a robot!
It is because of you what I do;
And where I stand today!
A master is meant to command,
And a servant to obey!
