When I Need You (Sonnet #101) Poem by Tina Baaklini

When I Need You (Sonnet #101)

When I need you, my heart feels you within
My mind plays in rewind our past moments
I breathe your tenderness carried by the wind
I close my eyes and feel the touch of your hand.

Being bonded forever is comforting
No one ever loved my soul but you
We dwell together in the heart we're sharing
You plant to me roses with tender hues.

When I need you, our souls in their realm meet
They smile and share their longing with a sigh
Only you can make my soul feel complete
The universe sees, hears and will comply.

Your love is my life, not an addition
It's my safe, sweet and soulful addiction.
