When I Open The Window Of My Heart (Sonnet #26) Poem by Tina Baaklini

When I Open The Window Of My Heart (Sonnet #26)

When I open the window of my heart
I see your tender face smiling to me
In relief I breathe, pilgrims' path we'll start
Hand in hand, to unite hearts endlessly

What a grace to have you as my soulmate
A bliss, an embrace from the Providence
True love is so scarce, yours gave me hope, faith
And wings to fly amid the stars and dance

Red flowers of joy that grow in my soul
Spread in my tomorrows the scent of peace
O divine white blessings I count, enthralled
Eternal love, my love and I we'll breathe

Love and harmony do tread side by side
For marriage of hearts and minds make love thrive
