When I Wake Up Some Mornings Poem by Toshie Nohara

When I Wake Up Some Mornings

Rating: 3.0

When I wake up some mornings
I feel the day's work
should be left undone!
And working isn't any
fun

So I wake up feeling quite miserable
Having to cope with all the inevitable
And the day seems loooong and uninviting
My energy and interest seem lacking
And the world seems like
crashing
Down!

But if I get a cold splash of fresh
water on my
face -it
'Sharpens' me up!
I realize I am with
the rat race.

So some mornings are Good
And some are
Bad
So I just
ignore them
Then
I am Glad.
