When Light Comes Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

When Light Comes

When the real comes
Like dawn after the night
The light sweep the dark
Ignite everywhere aglow

She came when due
Where others have been
Sat composedly
Optimistically determined
Where others gingerly perched
Pessimistically skeptical

Her posture announced
Genuine authoritative mission
To night that saw
The dawn approach and fled
At the flicker of ray
