When my time comes
My lord will come

When my time comes
I shall go
Into the wind
Into the depths of the deep blue ocean
Into the fields of sunflower
Into the setting sun
Into the rising moon

When my time comes
I shall go
Where the clouds sleep
Where the rain chills into snow
Where the birds gossip
Where the storms rumble
Where the mountains talk
And the sky breaks into eternity


When my time comes
I shall go
For my lord
Is your lord
And my religion
Is your religion

And I would
Sing my prayers
For the lord
Was good
Was kind
On earth and eternity
