When One Deserves An Award Poem by Hebert Logerie

When One Deserves An Award

When one deserves
An Award
One is usually reserved
Like a nice word
One does not think about it
One does nor brag or boast
One lets the host
Do things that fit
Utter words that are appropriate
Like the winner is
Or here is the laureate
Everything doesn't run like a business
People have different opinions
As there are many types of onions
The world is very bright and smart
A masterpiece of an art
Can be universally identified
People who lie for no reason
Are detested by decent persons
Let nobody be petrified
The guy is not qualified
For this exceptional prize
The world is tired of his lies.
