When Rain Falls Poem by Kim Schilling

When Rain Falls

Rating: 5.0

When rain falls
my heart beats a little faster,
breathing deepens with anticipation.
Tapping of raindrops against glass,
like a gentle massage down my bare back.
Mild rumbling of thunder rolling overhead,
like his tender, hot moans beside my ear.
Silver lightning stretches across the sky
like the energy that shoots through me.

I writhe beneath the beauty of the silken sheets,
as I caress myself in preparation for his arrival.
