When She Called Me Mine - Poem by Clyde Bryson

My Love...the very thought of thee
Such sweetness filled my breast
But sweeter still thy face to see
When thy lips.... on mine caress

My voice cannot sing
My heart cannot frame
Nor can memory find
A sweeter sound than when....
She called me mine
