When Spared From World's Unfriendly Knowing Poem by james watkin

When Spared From World's Unfriendly Knowing

Each a princeling, in its parent's
High estimable regard
Royally attended to.
Coddled of that enclosed world-view
Castle tower's warm-lit.

Not yet of an age to ponder
Having by then escaped
With what ignorance we
Lived. Clueless what for tones, chilly
There upblew; explicit.
