When The Fear Has Died Down Poem by Shalom Freedman

When The Fear Has Died Down

And the child is alright
You begin to live again

Who can know but Parents of sick small children
the Fear that Love engenders?

And who can ever pray for the children
With such trembling and concern
As parents and grandparents
Who love them?
