When The Lights Went Out
finally when the lights went out
i see you
dissolving in darkness like a very faint light
moving away from me
a firefly
and then simply a flicker
and then i forget
everything
and then i close my eyes
wipe a tear
and forced myself to sleep
because you are no longer by my side
