Don't be discouraged poor soul
if the one you love does not feel your care
The important thing is that you did.
You felt the beauty of love, inside, in there
To have love for another comes from within
It's a human emotion we can't help
Not really something you can keep in
Wonder why it hurts so and feels such a sin
Be gentle with the ones whom you love
Give them God's gift that you felt from above
Remember, you're still blessed
Even if you're regarded as less
Life puts us sometimes through such a difficult test
Some days it hurts so much inside you confess
It all feels such a painful mess
Though you tried to love and give someone your best
Give them your love and care, even if they're not there
Someday they may know the depth of your care
And will realize they disregarded you and were unfair
Maybe things will turn around, so pick your eyes up from the ground
The test of love is still loving when nobody is around
When loneliness and the beating of your heart is the only sound
When you dream of your love but they can't be found
Or when you smiled at them they carelessley frowned
It hurts so much inside to dream happy dreams of love
and to have opened your heart up wide
But you should be glad someone made you feel that way
When they turned a little care your way
Because if not you may never have known
The message of love might never have been sown
So don't keep all that you felt within
Love is meant to be shared with friends and kin
Don't be afraid to show compassion or affection
Cast it isincerely in every direction
and one day as a farmer does hopefully sow
Perhaps true love may against odds blossom and grow
Be glad you feel your heart ache in love
It means you have a heart...a blessing from above
And instead of sadness and heartache in vain
The love you sowed may one day grow as plentiful as grain
Somewhere there is someone who will feel your heart sincere
To shower you with kisses and to always wish you near
And in time you will taste all of life's sweet affection
Hearts meant to touch will somehow find their love connection
