When The Right Time Comes - Poem by RIC BASTASA

when the right time comes
i will tell you
that i love you

even when all our hairs
have turned to gray
even when all the gray hairs
have gone away

but now my love
my lips are sealed
my hands are chained
i am inside this cell
my feet are gel

wait a while
i am setting myself free

help me find
my claws my wings my eyes
