When The Wind Stops Blowing Poem by Corey Day

When The Wind Stops Blowing

And the snow stops falling.
When the stop starts going,
And the crow stops calling.

When the circle gains an edge,
And the muscle loses strength.
When the coward learns courage,
And the snake loses length.

When the teachers cease to educate,
And the coaches cease to coach.
When the needle won't sedate,
And the man's killed by the roach.

When the winners never win,
And the losers begin to gain.
When the fish disowns it's fin,
And the fire burns the rain.

When the water leaves the bay,
And the 'to' divorces 'fro, '
Well, this will be the day
When the wind will cease to blow
