' When Tragedy Strikes... ' - Poem by MoonBee Canady

When Tragedy Strikes
We May Fall Apart
Cause ‘It’ Hits Hard
Surely, Crumbling Starts

May Be, A Small Piece
May Be, Bit By Bit
Or Go Down Quick
By One TKO Hit

Or One Last Straw
One Final Blow
Hard To Know
When Hope, Falls Or Go

Like A Faucet Drip
Drop By Drop, Struck
Heartbeat, Gets Stuck
On Self-Destruct

A Natural Reaction
Like A Natural Disaster
Tornado Spins Faster
In Your Own Backyard Pasture

When Tragedy Strikes
When Big Trouble Appears
In Tidal Wave Tears
Turns Into Hurricane Years

When Tragedy Strikes
I Pray You’re Strong
To Hang-In-There Long
Longer, Than A Swan-Song …
