When Unity Knocks At Your Door Poem by Felix A. Ahia

When Unity Knocks At Your Door

Rating: 5.0

I am one I am all
I am I I am we
Take me out and they wont stand
Add me and nothing significant
cos 'samblance is on the forehead
For strength lie in us
And we look not in despair
Cos the belt of hope binds us

She is one she is all
She is she she is us
A rock a pillar
Most indiscriminate but prudent
Welcomely free but firm
Cos 'samblance is on the forehead
Daughter of Civilization
The stars of the ocean sing your praises
Who do embrace
Motherhood of your emblem

I am black she is red
Mama is green we are yellow
Nothing mean colour
But stand as a flower
With smiles reflection on face
For equity do approach
Our fathers entertain oneness
Where we have come from
There we shall remain
