When We Are One Poem by Sumit Ganguly

When We Are One

When we meet
your words like water falls
mesmerize me.
No matter what you say,
your tone and posture vibrate me,
my joy and pride overlap our paces.
Your wishes are now mine,
we glide in the pink breeze.
Why the world don't melt
and time- freeze,
so, we can be one?
Past and future please leave us alone.
