How do you know when enough is enough?

When the bruises go away?

When the cuts disappear?

How do you know when to stop?

When you get caught?

When someone gets shot?

How do you know what will happen to me?

Do you really want me to die?

Cant you please just let me be?

How do you know it will be over?

Will things go back to normal?

Will I still be afraid of you?

Nothing is ever the same when its all over.

All that’s left is sorrow and pain.

So please don’t let that happen to ME.
