Long back, when I was Adam and you were Eve,
Words were still cuddled in the folds of obscurity;
A strange feeling, now called Love,
Was jingling in the heart of Eve.
Eve's heart was brimming with passion
But the words of the lady in Adam's hands had no meaning;
The naked beauties radiant eyes started gleaming
Like a flower blossoming fully, speaking to a butterfly
And Adam got the message.
Even now, I never spoke to you of love,
But dear! Always I see through your eyes
That my heart is in conversation with that of yours
And then the hitherto meaningful words
Lose their identity
And simply dissolve into obscurity!
