When You Are Lost You Are Not Alone

the tension lies in isolation
when you take things all alone
and there is no knowing that out there
when you are lost
and so preoccupied with the fear of being lost
with a little light
even a flicker
you could have seen a hundred or more
faces looking for themselves
you could have known
that there are too many of us
