When you lose your only brother, the world ceases to make sense.
You lose the first person you learned to be social with as a child. That will be the foundation for life.
You lose all the chances to be his sister.
You no longer have the brother to watch you fall in love. Or the chance to meet the person of his dreams. And watch them fall in love.
You lose the person who will watch your kids grow. There will not be nieces or nephews. And there won't be an uncle and aunt with cousins to play with.
You lose the memories that only we share.
They become only mine.
And we lose the memories that we will never make.
There is no chance to get grey hair with you or share our complaints about how our joints hurt and the "music kids listen to these days..."
When you lose your only brother...you lose your partner.
You lose the only person that has been there from day one. You lose your only soldier, your only team mate, your only motivation.
When you lose your only brother, you are forced to watch your parents lose there only son.
Forced to watch them lose their only chance of watching there son grow into a man.
No longer will they have the chance to watch him find the person of his dreams. Or grow into a father, and become an uncle.
There won't be grandchildren running around the house with their cousins on holidays.
There won't be any stories to share.
They lose the only chance of watching their kids get old together and start complaining just like they did.
When you lose your only
brother, the entire future is lost.
