When You Roam Around (Sonnet 1) Poem by Sixtus Osim

When You Roam Around (Sonnet 1)

When you rock and roam around town like bee,
What else do yo think your future shall be?
When your mum and dad had sent you to school
And you had turned round and called them old fools
But then, when success fails to call your name;
When you had failed, you search for who to blame
And if you were a girl, you'd go round town
Looking for a man of whom to pull down
But soon, he knew you were unlearned
And he had dumped you and hooked with the learned,
Hence you had kept on bouncing like a ball
From one man's door to another man's wall
Then one day, like a ball had umteenth burst
So you die like a rat a trap had caught
