Life Is A Dream
So short a dream like morning dews
So fast a thing I never knew
Would fly like dove and melt like frost;
Sometimes a guest, sometimes a host
Wretchedness is a state but not an end;
Not a law but just a phenomenon-
For as one day, baby becomes a man
And a joey turns into kangaroo,
Tell Me Why I Shouldn't Forgive My Child
Last year in summer, in the month of August,
I saw my my little child stumbling on the dust;
I stopped and looked, and behold, ITS sneakers were gone;
There were some little holes that made them look rough
At Sunrise, Noontide And Night
Of all the things that dwell in heaven,
There is something grim in a woman
That has destroyed many heroes and kings
And has also ruined some thrones and kingdoms -
One day I caught a little bird,
And brought it home into a nest,
Then gave it some corn and rose bud,
Yet, away it flew to the west.
