Where Are The Red Roses Gone? Poem by Namile Zamangwane Hlongwane

Where Are The Red Roses Gone?

Rating: 5.0

I found myself questioning the walls
Where all the laughs disappeared too?
Where all the good priceless moments?
Who robbed us our peace and love? For all
I ever saw was tears after tears and and an
avalanche of hurtful words out of your mouth
But you were warned, out of the pain at least
I manage to warn you, yea I did
Now the flowers are gone, gone for good
