where does love go
when two souls part
does it dance along
landing upon others
like a butterfly in a meadow
or does it stay within
and just turn cold
waiting for a single kiss
to restore the bliss

does it make you sad
make you think you lost
the best you ever had
does it turn to anger
and make you hate
make you wish youd never
gone on that first date
or does it change to hope
that your wishes come true

do you miss it
when its not there
or do you sit around
and just stare
i think the best thing
until it returns
is make your own love
with your friends that care
make lots of it
so you can share
