Setting sail on the seven seas,
to tell the world about chalk + cheese.
As you do, not see nothing coming by not going,
so that's the reason we keep on rowing.
A perfect storm, just like that!
I bolted from where I was sat.
And saw from the heavens, a flash of lightening.
Believe me, believe me not, very frightening.
No clap or roar of thunder,
I was in mid-row and began to wonder...
In the deeper blue,
it was always best, when it was me and you.
Gone fishing, out at sea,
where, long lost lovers tear's, maybe?
A storm was brewed, by imperfection,
your no longer my selection.
I speak no lies,
you closed your eyes,
but I do not,
without our captain, tying knots.
This ship would sink and never stop!
The penny dropped, when the sea was less choppy.
You calm the storm once, let me see your poppy.
Two became one, without any others,
we go together, like a band of brothers.
75 years the lands long rest,
like 2,000 years have passed, more like 2 days at best.
We travelled the seven seas, and told the world of chalk + cheese,
When we arrived back home, we made a home of love + peace,
our freedom and livelihoods, come with a with a heavy cost.
Has the penny dropped, or are you stalling?
Until this day, we have answered our calling.
