Where I Made It Without You. Poem by Cheyanne Hardy

Where I Made It Without You.

You were my best friend.
You were my body guard.
You told me you would always be there.
Where did you go?
Why did you disappear?
You told me you meant when you said “I love you”
You told me I meant everything to you.
Now your gone.
Gone for good.
You cut me out of your life.
Just to leave me lying on the ground,
Half dead,
Heartbroken.
Do you care?
No.
You never did.
Never will.
Why?
Why did you leave?
How?
How could you do it?
How could you stab me in the heart like that,
And not even care?
You’re a heartless creature.
You’re the reason I’m trustless.
You’re the reason I didn’t want to live.
Now your in the past.
Now you’re the one who’s alone and depressed.
I’m the one who’s okay without you.
Wait, I’m better than okay.
I’m perfect without you.
Because of you,
I’m a stronger person.
Look at me now.
And look at you.
Who’s worthless now?
Who’s alone with no one to go to?
You.
You are.
And all I can do is laugh at you.
