Your touch,
Your kiss,
Your love.
It warms my soul.
Hush,
Don’t speak a word about the dreams I live for.
I go to you,
With tears of a thousand years,
Of disappointment,
Running down my face.
You tell me not to worry.
You tell me everything will be okay.
You wrap me in your arms
Breath in slowly,
Kiss me gently.
Tell me you love me.
Just hug me.
Your words,
Leave and everlasting smile on my face.
They erase the pain that once smothered it.
You say you love me,
And you mean it.
You don’t yell.
You don’t scream.
You don’t judge.
You protect.
You love.
You care.
That’s all that matters to me.
