Where Is The Love? Poem by Kathryn Marie Thurman

Where Is The Love?

Rating: 5.0

Where is the love?
In all the prejudice and disgrace.
From one person to another,
no one should be misplaced.

Where is the love?
When there are more bombs than hope.
Using guns to do their talk,
it's hard not to break down and cope.

Where is the love?
Of the non-violence and truth.
That our parents distilled in us,
when we were all just youths.

Where is the love?
That our lord unconditionally has for us.
For as long as we love,
it shall not go unjust.
