Where Is Virtue Poem by Dr. Elbert R. Moses, Jr.

Where Is Virtue

Rating: 3.5

I wonder as I ponder the wild blue yonder,
Why I squander my thoughts and dreams.
Can it be that my memory span is too short,
That it can't take the load and must abort?
I ask myself why this must be in this land of liberty?
In this land of chance and change, where is virtue?
Virtue is here and must be sought
By all with careful thought.
Virtue must be protected at all costs,
By every person in this nation;
And in each succeeding generation.
