Where Is Your Home? Poem by Bakare Oluwagbenga Michael

Where Is Your Home?

Where is your home? O ye mysterious creature;
You seem to have lost your way;
Your kind does not belong to this cruel world of vanity.
Where is your home? O yea earthly wonder;
You wander all around my mind;
You have refused to settle in my heart;
Aimlessly and restlessly spinning my head.
Where is your home? O yea goddess of beauty;
You charge my eyes with your beauty;
That they glow brighter than bulbs even at night;
Swinging your waist just to catch my sight.
Where is your home? O ye queen of hearts;
I need to know where sprout out of;
Wherever you root may be, I must know;
I need to take you from your root and implant you in my heart.
Where is your home? ? ?
